FAQs

If I call the Frankly phone number, will someone answer?

Nope, we’re an anonymous service. Your call will go straight to a voicemail. We might send you a text to let you know we’ve answered your question on the podcast or to send you some info if your question is more urgent/serious. But we won’t call you and we won’t use your name when answering either. Same goes for emails.

Do you answer all the questions?

Unfortunately, we can’t answer every single question but we will do our best. Most questions aren’t as unique as you’d expect so if you listen to the podcast you might find an answer to your questions anyway. If your question is urgent then we recommend heading to our resources page to get help now.

What if my question is a bit gross?

We don’t care at all - you can ask anything at all. We can’t promise it will be answered but we’ll do our best. Honestly, if you’ve thought about it then someone else has probably thought it too and it might help them out.

I or someone I know is thinking about suicide or hurting myself/themselves, what do I do?

How can I support Frankly?

We’re a social enterprise so any money we get goes back into our purpose (helping you via our podcast). You can help by…

  • Sharing our podcast/website with your friends and family. It’s a massive help to us, as is subscribing and/or reviewing our podcast.

  • By donating (we run on grants and donations as a NZ registered charity).

  • Asking a question or suggesting a friend does - the more questions, the more episodes we can make and help more people.
